Ages 15 & up
Warm up; replace your divot, where to enter the bunker, Rules of Golf. This class will help feel more comfortable with the game of golf. Join us for a detailed program that will teach you the rules and etiquette of the game and Western Acres. (1 class)

Warm up; replace your divot, where to enter the bunker, five most common Rules of Golf. These are just a few of the many aspects of the game that will be stressed as we learn the rules and etiquette of golf. Join us for a detailed program that will help you more fully understand the game and Western Acres. (1 class)

Golf Conditioning
Ages 15 yrs and up
Are you ready for the new golf season? Join our golf pro, Mark Heading, as he assesses your grip, swing and stance in preparation for the coming golf season. He will give you pointers that will improve your game, making golf more enjoyable for you. He will teach you stretching and strengthening exercises that will help protect you from injury. Bring your own clubs or clubs will be provided. (1 class)

Moms Playing A-Round
Ages 18 & up
Moms, want to play golf but don’t know what to do with your kids? With Moms Playing A-Round, you can drop your children off at the Park District’s babysitting program at SKRC while you go to Western Acres for a round of golf. You can even play less than 9 holes for a prorated fee! Babysitting is free, but you must register by the Friday before you golf. No exceptions. Babysitting will be offered until noon.

Sticks for Kids
Ages 6 – 15 yrs.
Golf is an excellent forum to introduce youth to physical activity, appreciate nature and provides an opportunity to learn a lifetime sport. Golf also provides one of the unique opportunities to instill lifelong values such as etiquette, patience and persistence. Join us as you learn the rules of the game, golf etiquette, golf swing, driving, chipping and putting. This program is designed to introduce your young person to all aspects of golf. Bring your own clubs or clubs will be provided. (6 weeks)
